Bees are fascinating creatures that are so important to people and the environment. We know that they are pollinators and produce honey. But there is so many more interesting characteristics about bees! Did you know that a bee’s sense of smell is 50 times more powerful than a dog? Or that they communicate through the “waggle dance?” Or that they have two stomachs?
This AMAZING WORLD OF BEES resource introduces young students to both honeybees and bumblebees. They will learn about bee habitat, characteristics, lifespans, diets and bee products.
